Preemie Prints

In 2001 I went through the horrible yet beautiful experience of giving birth to a preemie.

It was probably the most terrifying thing I've ever been through. A doctor came in and told me to prepare myself as babies born in this condition don't make it through the night.

She was quickly swept away to the NICU and spent a little over a week there. After begging my doctor to release me early so I could go be with her, I quickly realized that things could have been much worse. There were babies in the NICU in much worse conditions than my dear little one. It's an unexplainable feeling leaving your new baby at the hospital. 

A very long story short....14 yrs later, my daughter is still proving that doctor wrong with every breath she takes! I want to use my experience to help others.
